On a wildfire risk and fuels reduction project, Xia is tasked with removing hazardous dead trees, or snags, from a Park City homeowner's property.

• The project boundary, the backyard, ran along an HOA trail system.

• These dead hazardous trees were impacting the trail and posed risk to the people and families that frequented them.

• Assessing risk, Xia decided to start with some smaller trees to warm up and get the Quarter Cuts, a back cut style for felling, back into rotation.
