1. Tall Dead Tree

This project took place on a property with a home and decent acreage.
- This snag was headed towards the house and needed to be felled with care and precision.
- Snags (dead trees) pose risk to wildfires, forest health and ecosystems, and homeowner safety.
2. Dead and Down Obstacles

The acres behind the house were overrun with hazards from below and above.
With budget restraints, we set priorities with the homeowners and made a plan.
3. Uprooted Trees and Hangups

Many dead tree patches, overhangs, and uprooted trees caused trouble for safety and land use.
4. Excess Dead Brush

As a set objective, we targeted the vegetation that not only wasn't doing well but was restricting the nutrients to healthy trees.
5. Unfortunate Landscaping

Dead vegetation near the house was a high priority.
6. Fallen Material

To assist in ease of grazing and fire safety, a cleaner forest floor was desired.
7. Dead Tree (Snag) Grouping

So many hazards! Whether the wind picks up, a storm hits, or they get overloaded with snow - these situations can pose dangerous and a huge mess later.
8. Hazardous Leaners

Hangups, they happen; however, it's best not to keep them. They are a risk and especially for those who love to roam their land, they should be taken out.

You're out!
Not everything can thrive, and that's okay. We keep what you want and take what you don't. It's that easy!

1. Keeping the Healthy Ones

When we remove your dead trees, there's so much more for you to see.
2. Clean Up

We took out snags so the rest are left to thrive.
The photo shown is before clean up, but when you choose - you have options:
1. haul away
2. cut into firewood and leave with you
3. chip on your property or haul away
4. leave trimmed trees on ground
5. burn piles

We want a rich, diverse forest for everyone. This means ensuring a variety of vegetation types while reducing continuous fuels.
- While hazards were mitigated, some smaller dead were left as they were not a priority or budgeted.

5. Cutting Back

As you can see, forest health and fire mitigation doesn't mean "cut everything".
- We can take out as much or little as you like, create fuel breaks, and so much more.
- Having a forest that sustains a variety of forest types, ages, and heights while giving space in-between is golden.
